OMG, im blogging on my cell phone!!!

This is incredible, this is superb. I'm actually blogging on my cell phone! The only thing is that I don't think I can format so you'll just have to read one very long paragraph. Like I can be at the car wash or a thought can pop in my head and I can blog...on the go. So I didn't blog every day on my vacation. In fact this is the last day. In eleven days, I managed to eat the entire contents of my fridge, and my mom's fridge and any food in my line of sight. I'm a little large and in charge, but nothing I can't fix. I think I've spent more time laying down than standing upright. Oh, I did manage to get a dental exam. Guess how many cavities I have? 7! SEVEN! I was appalled!its not like I'm in kindergarden running around with a sucker in my mouth all day. I've gone through a half a bottle of Listerine. I even started flossing three times a day but it gives me smile wrinkles so I'm only doing that at night. Hence the over usage of mouth wash. I've also kept up with my resolution to make more friends. I went to an alumni brunch and instead of sitting by one of my best friends for years I sat by people I don't know. I even initiated small talk. I KNOW! Crazy, right? Me, interested in others. Or,sometimes I get shy, but I was having a pretty day so that helped. A few cups of coffee and good conversation. I love Sunday brunch minus the all you can eat. It should be illegal cause' then your day is shot. I think I will organize one every week with different people. That will be fun. Or a book club! Except not about those Twighlight books. I swear they move at a turtle pace. In any case, I feel energized this year, like the world is my oyster...is that a saying? Oh yes, like you open it and oooh what's inside? The last two years I felt lost, which made me a hermit. Clarissa and I joked that I should have a coming out party, or as Olivia from The City says, a "Deb Ball." lol! I feel that way. My friend Michelle blogged and said that she collects sticks and hopes to make a sculpture one day.I mean, I can make a sculpture out of credit card statements. I don't stop to say, oh look, what a unique stick? I'm just not that interesting. I'm like stomping through the planet so carelessly that I walk into a supermarket across the street and can't remember if I'm in a ralphs or albertsons! And, if I did meaningful things like collect I would have interesting things to talk about with people I don't know. Do you see how it all relates, people! It all ties back. There was a point to this blog, well except the part about my teeth. Now as for what to collect, I don't know yet, so for now my small talk will have to be about not knowing what to collect. that's all the wisdom I can share for now, as blogging on a BlackBerry pearl hurts my forearm.please disregard any typos due to predictive text. :)

Vacation Day 1

10 days of vacation...what will I do with myself??? I've decided to blog everyday while I am visiting the folks.

I won a mini shopping spree at work and got two new dresses. I wore one of them today and it was a hit. Everyone's been telling me how cute it looks. I'm even wearing the wrong shoes! The shoes I wanted to wear are lost, probably swallowed up by the bedroom monster along with a bunch of socks. The dress has adorable little pockets in the front. I love dresses with pockets. I made sure to put a little tube of lip gloss in there so when people complimented my new little dress I could show them how functional it is too.

My car battery died today. A gorgeous man asked if I needed help and my father so proudly sent him away. He's like, "I have cables, I got it under control." Next time I'm just staying stranded on the side of the road until a hot guy stops. I'll just tell the rejects my husbands on the way. That's what I can do tomorrow. I'll take an ice pick to one of my tires. Who knows, I might be married by the end of my 10 days.

I'm really excited for Tuesday. Can't wait to stand in line for my free cosmetics!!! I'm in El Centro, so I figure its the most exciting thing happening in the county this week. I called Dillards (there's not much of a choice here and I'm not allowed to go to Macy's), and no one knew about the class action settlement. I'm like, "it's on Tuesday, are you sure you don't know?" Finally, i asked for the store manager, and she confirmed they would have my goodies. It hasn't been on the news and not in the paper, and I hope it stays that way. I've even convinced my Dad to wake up early and stand in line with me. He's a little annoyed since he'd rather be watching CNN all day, but i begged. Do you think if I go at 10 am and then change my clothes and hair and go at like 7pm they would know? I'll scope it out in the morning and make a decision. I'll have to learn how to post pics to my blog by then so I can share it with all of you. My heart goes out to everyone at Bloomies who have to work that day!

Tonight I think I will watch the Benjamin Button movie. Nachos sounds good. See you tomorrow!!!
